Finca La Florida is situated approximately 6 hours from Antigua and Lago Atitlan, and 3 hours from Quezaltenango and Retalhuleu.

From Colomba, take the pick-up to Chuva and ask to be dropped off at La Entrada al Paraíso. From there it’s a 45min walk to La Florida. Follow the road and ask for directions.

Due to the remote location of the community, the Ecotourism Project has arranged different transportation services.

For 150Q (6am-6pm) or 200Q (6pm-6am), the community can arrange you a pick-up from Colomba to La Florida, meeting you in front of the Municipality. For 40Q (6am-6pm) or 50Q (6pm-am) you can be picked up from the Entrada al Paraíso, where the public transport ends.
For 55Q a community member will accompany you from Colomba to La Florida using public transport. You can also ask to be met at the Entrada al Paraíso (10Q), from where they will walk with you to the finca (45min).
