Escuela de la Montaña
Proyecto Linguistico Quezalteco de Español (PLQE) is famous for being one of the best Spanish language schools in Latin America, and it has been ranked as No. 1 among Guatemalan language schools. One of the schools, Escuela de la Montaña is situated 20 minutes from Colomba, the closest town to La Florida, and has been collaborating with the Ecotourism Project bringing Spanish student to volunteer and experience the collective community. The school itself offers the students an opportunity to experience hands on the living conditions of indigenous people in the Guatemalan countryside while learning Spanish.
